quote by David Coulthard who has often spoken out about driver safety issues.
That was very, very difficult. It's a crazy thing to be a racing driver – on the one hand you're scared, but on the other, you're having the time of your life because every moment you're right on the edge, even on the straights.

I'm happy to score points, but obviously I'm sorry for the team to lose what looked like some great points with Mark. I'm glad the race is over, but it was a lot of fun out there.

I thought Kovalainen came out with a good line in the press conference.

It was good for me to get behind Lewis but if Lewis says he had bad visibility, he should have been where I started the race, then he will know something about bad visibility.

It's a credit to every driver out there that there were no major incidents or pile-ups. It must have been frightening doing 180mph down the start/finish straight where, in Ralf Schumachers words, "you can't even see your hand in front of your face!"

it wasn't that dangerous..

when the cars were behind the safety car, they were all running together and slowly (2m 13s), so that when they completed laps and got back to the same part, it was under water again, and since the cars were trying to keep their tyres and brakes warm, they were accelerating and braking at unexpected places which, in the low visibility was dangerous for the following cars.

as soon as the safety car went in, hamilton was down to within 4 seconds of qualifying instantly and within 2 seconds on his fastest lap, the cars spread out and the track cleared to an extent. Qualifying was described as "a little greasy" by most drivers, so getting within 3-4 seconds, the conditions can't have been that bad...

the drivers should just think themselves lucky that they were in Fuji, if they'd been at Suzuka, then most of those that overdid it in corners would have been out, stuck in the gravel.

I must say though, what a drive by FA, BRILLIANT, he showed all his skills to stay behind LH and lose it into the wall while desperately trying to chase him down... WHAT A SHAME!!!

LH for champ 2007. (Rookie season, 5 Poles (FA 2) 4 Wins (FA 4) 2 Fastest Laps (FA 3) 12 podiums (FA 10)...

You tell me... who deserves it more????

GO LEWIS!!!

He can normally never even see his hand infront of his face anyway. :P

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. —The Buffalo Bills lost three regulars to injury in their season opener against Denver on Sunday, including tight end Kevin Everett, who was knocked cold and taken off the field in an ambulance.

Everett injured his neck and was transported to a hospital.

Dude, do you even watch the NFL?? EVERY PLAYER on the field is injured one way or another but they all play. The last person to get paralyzed before Kevin Everett was almost 20 years ago with the Jets, that's a 20 year span. BTW, Kevin Everett is fine, he's moving and doctors have said he will walk again. As for the race, both Kubica and Heidfeld said that water got into their engines and the engines were misfiring. Kubica said when his engine was misfiring and he had no power, his mechanic would radio him to when a car is approaching so he can move out of the way because he feared that someone would run into him because they can't see. Nick said because of water in his engine and it was misfiring badly, he lost a gear and he was nervous driving on the straights because he was a lot slower then those approaching him, he did the same thing as Kubica by moving over for faster cars, the worst part for Heidfeld was he lost radio connection. Heidfeld said he moved over for Kimi because he didn't want Kimi to slam into. Guessed it was dangerous race then.

Guess NFL football is a dangerous game then... Dude! According to you "everyone" in the NFL is injured, who exactly was injured in the race? Have a look at the following Google page:

Any comments, Dude! No wonder NFL players are normally "brain dead" when they are drafted.

Was brilliant to watch but in the safety side of it one thing i will say is Button rarely complains about conditions and the wet suits him (imo best driver in the wet) so for him to moan it must have been bad.

Ralph said he couldnt see his hand and McLaren drivers both said it was a nightmare with the weather.

Overlook it though and what a race it had everything a bit of drama with the Ferrari tyres and overtaking under the safety car. Loads of bumps. crashes that completly altered the race.

Fire in the pit lane great racing at the end with Masa and Kubica, amazing race wish some of the more boring ones were this good.
