I just applied for a volunteer position with our local Red Cross so wish me luck :) .

" Luck "

And for me to be able to do what i want as a successful Mortgage broker i have to pay 500 nicker.

But for me to be able to live the life i want or would prefere i wil have to be on a high salary. A being a Daddy isn't cheap, Plus next year were hoping to get wed! & our Honey Moon to be in the Maldives  As also next year I'm HOPING to be a Daddy, as were trying now. So fingers crossed all goes well.

I say you you need to get more settled personally, mentally and financially before you even consider having a child. I do agree that persueing a broker's license is a smart move, I have taken 3 out of five course's at $150 per course for my real estate license and being a broker is much more lucrative. I have a friend that got into brokering at 22yr's old and within one year was making in access of $250K a year but that was in better economic times.

Set a goal and persue it with all you have and put aside the 'being a daddy', your only 18 and have plenty of time for that.

Totally agree. I am looking at getting my license end of this year - OCT time - then by next July look at getting a place together and just be a financial advisor. While making allot of sales. Well the Wedding were hoping would be next Sept. But who knows as planning is for morons. As everyone knows nothing comes as panned. But I am hoping to be on 30K just my normal pay cheque and also the commission banged on top but then I am taking on another course to get myself in another sector of the financial department which opens up my portfolio in which I can do 2 jobs at the same time and also try to get my wages on 60k average and then get my commission. I'll be a real nice snap up for a bank
