Right I haven't been here, or read this thread.

but let's stop the foreign language or mixed up speak unless the post is witty... the past few have been nothing more than childish.

It wasn't chlidish :) just abit of banter.

Fair play.

This is English language based.

EDIT: Alonso is innocent. Renault... I feel like i'm two steps out on commenting on the decision. I'll post that at the weekend when my nearest internet point isn't over 40 minutes away on foot.

ok ewmanm - you may behave now.

Since when did you come back?

Quote from FIA files
The FIA statement said: 'Witness X was told of the idea suggested by Nelson Piquet by Mr Symonds, whilst in the presence of Mr Briatore. Witness X objected to the idea. He did not know the plan was to be carried into effect until the crash happened. 'As a result of the evidence, including Mr Piquet’s admission, Mr Symonds’s responses and Witness X’s evidence, Renault F1 concluded that they and Mr Briatore must have known about the conspiracy.'
The trio kept the plan secret from the rest of the team, which explains why the FIA was keen to go easy on Renault, handing out a two-year suspended ban to the manufacturer team, while cracking down on Briatore and Symonds. Piquet Jnrt was handed immunity for revealing the plot."

Quote "Witness X objected to the idea" who could this be other than Alonso.

I think he probably had some idea of foul play, though I am fairly sure he didn't help plan it. He probably just turned his head to it, not really sure if that makes someone guilty or not but it does make the win undeserved IMO.

wel, bedoel jy wanneer jy sê blameer hamilton? ...

ok boet ......wats jou storie ??

those words were chosen to carefully and in the wrong context.

Well i only speak a little Dutch.

but i made it out like

"ok mate, whats your story?"

wel ek dink nie, alonso is skuldig.

maar wat piquet het en hamilton het is heeltemal verskillend. ...

but oraait. los maar die afrikaans. maar se my. wie help jou daar ??

nr is het helpen me, i begrijpen een weinig hollands ...

cool .... all of a sudden i have a higher opinion of you !! .. cool !

As cheese is nothing else than milk on its way to eternity, so is Dutch nothing else than German on its way to English. Quite easy to understand if you know German (and in particular Swiss-German, which seems in many ways closer to Dutch) and English. 8-)

Dare I mention "Witness X" in this?
First Maclaren, now Renault.
No wonder Ferrari are in two minds over their choice of driver for next year....

I don't think it was Bell. The only other person actually named anywhere was Briatore's assistant. If it was Bell, I'm pretty sure he'd have been mentioned at some point.

If witness X is Bob Bell then he is in no way fit for the team principle position either as he kept his mouth shut for the best part of a year before admitting his knowledge! It does make you wonder just how many people actually knew about crashgate (before or after the fact) within the Renault team and didn't say a word!
