For all the pros and cons argued here, I cannot believe Todt would come up with the stupid half-assed "measures" that we've seen from Mosley and his army of yes-men.

Yeah he would or Max wouldnt have him as his replacement to keep the status quo....

Ari seems to have his head on straight and has no ties to any F1 team any reasonable fan would agree he is the prime candidate.

Todt will not keep the status quo in terms of stupid half-assed measures, even if Mosley wanted this. It's going to be a very different FIA. Whether it's Todt or Vatanen. Fundamentally, Max is a moron (as far as racing is concerned, not politics), and neither Todt nor Vatanen are morons.
