I agree. What made it worse was that I knew I only needed to use the internet, teletext of look at a paper to put me out of my nervous-excited misery!

I assiduously resisted all media prior to the re-run on ITV. After sitting through that nerve-wraking experience, I almost wish I had just seen the result and THEN watched the race. Hamilton getting nudged off... seen a McLaren in a tangled heap... AAAARRGGH!

But it all ended in sweetness and light with blue birds over the White Cliffs of Dover.

I went to a fishing tournament friday and got about 2hr's sleep and fished most of the day and then had a 150 mile drive home. I stayed up for the race which started at 11:30pm saturday night for me. I will do just about anything I have to so I can watch a race live.

Well worth getting up for, and some more great wheel banging at the end between Massa and Kubica. And the best part was at the end they shook hands and talked about how great the fight was. :)

I missed that interview but that was the impression that I got as too how they would see their battle.
What frustrated me was that the camera was following Lewis across the finnish line and totally ignored the last lap battle between Heikki and Kimi  .

Lewis and Kimi are definitely the current "rain meister's"!

try telling that to channel 10, Japan always seems to be on live yet China gets to be replayed later at night! But even then the European races arent too bad usually around the 9 30pm mark where you can watch live timing on F1.com if you want to know the outcome before its aired on tv at 11pm or 2 am depending what more important programmes they have to air ie Rugby world cup! the North american races are the real killers for us! 4am live

but yeah F1s move to the Asian market is a blessing for Aussies :)
