Hamilton is indeed a very talented driver. But he is no champion. His antics of hitting the brakes in odd places, over and over and over again finally paid off for him when he suckered both red bull cars into crashing out of the race. He should be stripped of his winning points for unsportsmanlike conduct. And his current media campaign againt Alonzo is pathetic. Unfortunately, not uncommon in Britain, but still sickening. He's a jerk, and everyone knows it. The other drivers don't even like him.

i agree, im sure break testing is not alowed especially behind a safety car, its tottaly unfair, unsportsmanlike as well as unsafe but of course no one will dare look into it because he's an angel pffft.....

Exactly rc, not one driver, commentator or team member has laid one ounce of blame with Hamilton over that and Webber was quite vocal as to where he considered the blame to lay.

whats Brake Testing??

Slamming your brakes on when it's not normal to, to test whether the guys behind are awake enough to apply their brakes in time.

Happens on the road too - many people use brake testing to tell tail-gaters to get off their rear bumper.

Media campaign? Until the last few weeks, Alonso has never shut up about McLaren being pro-Hamilton etc. Then, Alonso's shameful involvement in the spy scandal, which sees McLaren dumped out, fined $100 million, cars scrutineered next season, a smaller pit garage, and not allowed to send a representative to the podium, for nigh on damn all, but yet he expects the team to provide him with the equipment to win a championship!

I'm sorry, although I like a good debate, this forum is becoming tiresome, with biased people coming out with remarks that have no grounding.

I'm sorry but I disagree with some of the points here, Hamilton drove a great race today and did nothing to contravene the rules of F1. If you watch the tape back, Webber was more likely to take Lewis out, and the Brit said as much in his post race interview.

Can we try and move away from the anti-Hamilton feeling on here. I don't follow the guy myself, but I do rate him over Alonso as a better all round package. Alonso was completely outclassed today, but that's no reason to rubbish the great efforts of Lewis. And before anyone brings up the popularity of Hamilton among drivers, I can say that he is well liked in the paddock - whereas Alonso can't even get on with his own team!
