It's always sad to hear that somebody dies, but the amount of revisionism surrounding McRrae 's death annoys me. He was a great driver, though not as legendary as some make out, and his death is not tragic. He took his helicopter into the air without the proper competency checks and paper work. A shameful act, which resulted in his own death, and that of some of his family and friends. It's the latter I really feel sorry for.
