The only thing that matters in cricket is test matches, and the ashes means the most.We won that so don't care about our b team playing these one dayers

But come on, surely cricket is cricket. Ok it's not in its finest form, but surely it's something to support?

The series shouldn't be happening. That can't be used as an excuse for getting battered but nor should England's performance in it be used as bait so the Scot's can start :censored: stirring!!

Maybe England should play 5 test matches and 7 one dayers against them

Hey, i've never hid the fact that Scotland are usually crap at team sports, so criticism aimed in my direction doesn't bother me.

The fact is we can admit we are s***. England aren't as s*** as Scotland (not by a long long way), but at most sports they aren't The s*** either :P

s***. :hehe:

Well we've got some good footballers (except during World Cup time). Some good F1 drivers. Some good Rugby players (only during World Cup time). Some good athletes too.

What have you got Scotland eh? What have you got?

Arguably the two greatest F1 drivers that Britain ever produced :P?

We have god athletes too - Chris Hoy is the best known.

Again when it comes to individuals sports we tend to shine - you could argue that modern Snooker was devised with help from Stephen Hendry etc etc.

Besides for a country of 5 million we do alright.

none of those would of wonwithout the english

both drivers mostly drove ENGLISH cars,Chris Hoy rode an ENGLISH bike,Stephen Hendrys cue was made in ENGLAND

Jokeing aside they do very well for a smaller nation.Don't forget Colin McRae

LOL indeed, I don't have any hard feelings towards my Southern neighbours. Infact quite the opposite.

Hence why I have a Union Jack and all that patriotic stuff.

Seeing as Australia plays under the Union Jack whilst England doesnt means Ewan has more right to follow Australia than England :wavey:

I agree. It's the England and Wales Cricket Board. That's singling Scotland out pretty authoritatively.

I agree.

I still hold the Commonwealth countries in high regard and well, although I wasn't too bothered about the Cricket, it was good to support the Australians. If anything to wind up the English.

What I want to know is why have some people already started driving around with England flags attached to their cars?

The World Cup is nearly a year away!

Yeah Terry was saying that to me down the pub the other night. Terry Logan? You know the one from Eurovision? He's retired now.

Not retired, retiring yes.

Terry Wogan still has his Radio 2 show in the morning and I heard him talking about it on there.

Commonwealth games and all that. :hehe:

ill try out for the lawn bowling team!

LOL it's going to be so weird to have the city full of foreign tourists.

In 2014 i'll be mocking Edinburgh so much :hehe:
