Sorry if this has been discused already, I did do a search but there were like 220 pages. jeeees

I just want to know what your thoughts are on Silverstone loosing the F1? I went this year and thought it was amaizing. Nothing wrong with the facilaties at all. Trust me as i went to Monza and at monza you have to crap and pee in a hole or a portalooo, some of which that have not been cleaned for 3 days. ewww. Silverstone have purposely built toilet blocks. They may not smell great but they are toilets.lol.

Monza we paid 230 euros a ticket and didnt even get a seat, we sat on a metal bar with bumps on it. Great idea  Silverstone we had a great seat and a great view for less.

Overall sivlerstone was better. Yes improvements are need as the big screens and speaker are rubbish, but it can be fixed.

Whats the big deal?

Donnington could be an amazing layout by the looks of the plans but it'll never happen. The GP next year will NOT be at Donnington, they just won't get it done. You're right though, Silverstone never needed preplacing anyway, it's a great track and I've never felt disappointed by the facilities. I go there to watch great racing, not for a bloody spa treatment.

I think Silverstone is great i know you can't hear the speakers but if you take a portable radio you can tune into Silverstone FM and you can listen to it all there with earphones.

I went for the first time this year and I expected it to be a dump - but there was nothing wrong with it!

Honestly its not a dump, well i dont think so. Like gilles27 said. I go there to watch racing. Im not expecting a foot massage and a leather recliner. You get a seat, fairly good food and an amaizing atmosphere. I think the problem is that the posh facilaties are not up to the standard as some of the other tracks. I dont care as ill never pay 4k for a ticket in the paddock. It Bernie's stupid idea, and his fault why its moving to Donington.

Yes Donington will be a exciting new track if it all works out and its built on time. But the question is, will it?

Silverstone is amazing, steeped in history and great to watch the race. Facilities fine. Donnington could never compete, it was a political game.
