BMW elephant ears? WTF?

Seems like the elephant ears on the hood were just photoshopped in for the second pic above?

thats how the bonnet opens up like a gull wing. it has a twin hood by the looks.

I don't think ugly or not ugly is a factor here. If you can afford it, you'll want it because you get to be seen in a Bugatti. It matters not what it looks like. It then becomes what's beautiful., even that toilet seat grille.

I think that may be a 'tribute' to the original Royale.

Style over substance = lame.

I understand with Bugatti because it's what they are about, more so than silly supercars with no racing pedigree whatsoever.

i actually think it looks alright. The stance is a bit awkward but who knows what that will be like on the production model. The detailing as ever with Bugatti, is exquisite. There's no other marque that approaches Bugatti in that respect imo. The Bonnet action, exhausts, two tone paint, grille and wing mirrors are all cues taken from legendary Bugatti's from the past so it's clear that the design is a bit of a compromise. i don't really think it manages to look either cutting edge or retro. i don't find it hideous though. Now the Maybach Excelero...that is a truly appalling.

Overall design looks cool, but the scheme could be a lot better. I'd still rock it.
