Yes he has a chance. He's driving better than Button at the moment. Depends if he can recoup that defecit. He'll need a little luck riding with him, possible though, he's on a role!

it won't happen. brawn won't let them fight for the title whatever they say. and i just think that they are backing button.

Brawn will win both titles, even if JB and RB take each other out a couple of times. Their lead is big enough and the Red Bulls are struggling.

Brawn's best interest is to let them fight it out, create a great spectacle and soak up the sponsors.

i'd like to see rubens take the championship

rubens has got nothing to loose really so he'll definitely be pushing harder than button who is going to be playing it safer.

I really hope Rubens wins the title! Talk about a fellow that has never given up, before every season and in every long Brazilian interview he mentions that he will be champion someday. Rubens is fast and I'm sick of seeing him play second fiddle for everyone!

I can already see him on the podium crying like a baby being sprayed with champaign & galvao crying on the TV as we have a new champion! :cloud9:

I'd be equally pleased to see either of the Brawn drivers win the title. It would be great if it were between them right to the last race, but I'll be quite sad for the one that doesn't win it.
Then again there are a few other drivers I'd be pleased to see take it too, like Vettel, Webber, and Kimi and Fernando, not that they're close enough anymore.

Even in the midst of a championship battle, Jenson Button is reportedly also embroiled in complicated dealings about his future at the Brawn team.

The Daily Mail and Sun newspapers in Britain report that, after having agreed to a multi-million pay cut before the start of the season, the 29-year-old driver now wants his money back before signing for 2010.

The Sun quoted a source as saying that Brawn's first counter-offer in monetary terms was "derisory".

Those reports coincide with an article in Britain's Telegraph that says Nico Rosberg has "agreed a deal" to move from Williams to Brawn next year.

The report said both Button and Barrichello are candidates to exit the team to make room for the 24-year-old German, who is strongly favoured by Mercedes-Benz, and that the German carmaker "has never shown much interest in signing Button."

The reports also claim that Button and his management have complained to Brawn about a lack of cooperation from Barrichello's side of the garage, as the outcome of the 2009 title comes down to a straight fight between the team-mates.

After Monza, team boss Ross Brawn made a point about ensuring the 2009 showdown would be an "open" fight between his drivers, while Button and Barrichello also referred to the forthcoming free exchange of information when speaking with reporters after the Italian Grand Prix.

Cooperation with what? Setting up each other's cars?
