I liked this race! We should have more Spa and Monza tracks :) Well done to Barrichello, and it was amazing to see Hamilton push so hard, the accident came as a shock. Ferrari did well too. What I'm absolutely gutted for is Liuzzi, he had good pace and a 1-stop strategy, and was set to finish between third and fifth. I'm not exaggerating, he could have leapfrogged Kimi and Sutil with the stops. No tests and he was right there, it came as a nice surprise. We'll see if the Force India is still competitive enough in the next races.

I think Liuzzi was just ahead of Alonso when he retired, so he'd probably get 5th. But he surely deserved the points, that was an amazing return.

I get the feeling he lost his big chance, as many commentators think FI will not be up for much, but let's hope he can keep it up :)

What about Rubens and Jenson now? The Driver title seems something between them only, now! Rubens would need at least another result like Valencia (first, Button seventh) to have a hope, though.

i'm just dissapointed. with the result not with hamilton. i respect how he would rather push it (a little too hard) to try and get second instead of settle for third. shows the type of driver he is. was nice to see barrichelo being quicker than button, but you have to doubt wether brawn will actually let them fight it out. in my opinion it is obvious who they want to win the title, button is going to be backed all the way. all he needs to do is finish now. it really is over. congratulations to button on becoming the new world champion. all bets are off.

Not so fast...

Agreed its not even close to being over if Kimi can comeback from 17 points behind in two races i'm sure rubens can from here

you're forgetting that kimi snuck up from behind as the mclaren's pushed each other. brawn will not make the same mistake. as shown earlier in the season they are prepared to give button track position over rubens if he needs it. i don't want to see a brawn title either but sometimes you just have to admit defeat. red bull had there chance with button's run of poor results but didn't take it for one reason or another. roll on next season.

At one point this year I thought Ross Brawn would favor Jenson over his team mate, too. Rubens did, as well. They would probably be ready to do that if the need arises, but actually, as this season is turning out the way it is, they won't need to issue team orders, I think. Unless Red Bull's slump ends here after they're done with fast tracks, the Brawn's main race contenders are very distant point-wise... they can just let the drivers go without worries, Rubens and Jenson are not going to fight among themselves like Prost and Senna did :hehe:

Found this on another site somewhere.

Pussycat Dolls lead singer Nicole Scherzinger has reportedly pulled out of a Formula One music concert at the Singapore grand prix in two weeks because she has broken up with world champion Lewis Hamilton.

Britain's Sunday Mirror newspaper said the 31-year-old American had been due to act as host for the new-concept 'F1 Rocks' event by introducing acts including Beyonce and the Black Eyed Peas.

But a source told the tabloid that Hamilton has ended the relationship due to the pressure on him to get married.

"The last thing Nicole wanted to be doing is anything to do with Formula One now -- so she immediately pulled out of F1 Rocks," the source said

Ooh, I do love a bit of gossip and this means we don't have to miss part of the race because the cameraman loves her. I did notice that it was just Anthony and Lewis' brother in the garage today.
