pffff are we racing fans here or what?? cant bloody win, fans whinge with no passing they whinge that theres no incentive to pass for the win when its only an extra 2 points. Lewis went for it i commend him for it! any one who has a problem with what he did, go watch lawn bowls! bloody w**kers :thumbdown:

There's a difference between trying to pass someone and being stupid, though. Lewis was just over a second behind Jenson with two-thirds of a lap to go. Six points (two more than Ferrari) would have helped them in the fight for third place in the WCC. Now they're looking more like getting fourth.

mate stick to IT you know nothing about racing

Yeah, sure. Nothing.

A decent enough race. Although there were not a great number of overtaking moves, a lot of cars were pretty close together on the track. It was nice to see the Toyotas fighting, which they may as well have done, as they had nothing to loose.

Brawn quite impressed me today. After hitting rock bottom last time round, Button looks to be driving a Formula One car and not a Rallycross car. Congratulations to Barrichello, who continues to perform really well and looks to have lost little or none of his speed. Hopefully now, the title battle will stop being a mugs affair.

Another chance of a victory has gone begging for McLaren. Kovalainen was woeful for the first three quarters of the race. Okay, he was heavy on fuel, but he should have been that slow. Kovalainen has almost no chance of salvaging his McLaren career. Hamilton drove well, until the last lap. It was great to see him going for the second position and two points (take note, Ecclestone), but it became pretty clear he was not going to get past Button. Another podium and points flushed down the toilet.

So, can we now officially put your concerns re. JB's potential title being a shame (or something like that) to rest? :P

I dunno McLaren Fans accusations that Button drives well when the cars working well were upheld today.

Good day for Sutil. Kinda sucks he wasnt on the podium, but he got a healthy dose of points today so thats nothing to be ashamed of. Felt bad for Liuzzi though, he was going quite well. Now since Force India are scoring points, Toro Rosso is last in the championship!:thumbup::thumbup:

And watch Mr Tost come out and say "Oh it's the drivers' fault moan moan moan, we do everything perfect but they drive too slow!".

Haha yeah, what a sh!t team. They deserve to be last in the grid, and last in points.

Huh? He wasn't even in a position to overtake!

I would say that his 3 stops strategy didn't worked :hehe:

I reckon things would have been much different with Gerhard Berger still around, I think he was one of the driving forces behind them last year, not just because of Vettel.

I liked this race! We should have more Spa and Monza tracks :) Well done to Barrichello, and it was amazing to see Hamilton push so hard, the accident came as a shock. Ferrari did well too. What I'm absolutely gutted for is Liuzzi, he had good pace and a 1-stop strategy, and was set to finish between third and fifth. I'm not exaggerating, he could have leapfrogged Kimi and Sutil with the stops. No tests and he was right there, it came as a nice surprise. We'll see if the Force India is still competitive enough in the next races.
