Starting at back of the grid with little fuel at a circuit wich is hard to overtake....

That was something that Steve Matchet brought up. He mentioned on SPEED TV while I was watching practice that Alonso/Renault's strategy was very odd.

He also had to overtake the Trulli train as well, and before he could even do that he had to wait until Rosberg and Nakajima had found a way by, imagine if he hadn't managed to get by Trulli at all when Piquet crashed.

all that the telemery shows is that Piquet crashed the car on purpose. It is for the FIA to prove that anyone else was involved.

The transcripts do seem to impy that this wasn't just Piquet's decision though.

ive seen it, a big sorry to NP if renault are guilty :/

He still shouldn't have deliberatley crashed. It was an idiotic and dangerous decision and just because he came forward because of sour grapes doesn't make it any better.

Yep he should have carried on because I think this incident would have come to light anyway.

Yes this is a very dark period for F1 in general. :(

Since Renault has said they are leaving F1 which I find very sad I cannot help but think that this will/has tarnished their image. The next few week's should be very enlightening.
