Or how about MM paying Stepney in a sly vendetta move against RD?
Or how about LH's dad paying Stepney in a calculated attempt to get rid of that whining cry baby FA?
Or maybe RD's underlings (Whitmarsh, Lowe, Neale) had had it and began a mutiny?

dont think whitless was involved, as if his tongue aint glued to Lewboyz bottom, then its stuck up rons, leaving him too little time to do anything 
as for J.Neale, that was the first name i heard had seen the leaked info, and then it escalated from there. Maybe it was Mercedes who started all this, to undermine rd and mw, so they can get rid of them and then conquer the world in a cunning masterplan formulated in da Fatherland
