Yes, and then he goes to criticise Sir Jackie Stewart for saying, truthfully might I add, that the decision would not have stood up in a civil court. Mosley denies this as though he has has never heard of it, despite it being raised by McLaren's legal team at the hearing.

He then says, "hearts ruled heads". Now, surely that isn't particularly legal? Never mind not excluding the drivers, the decision was based on hearts, not heads.

The rest of his sickening comments deserve another thread.

I believe MM is making statement there - about his own despotic powers within F1.

So why did McLaren have to payout $100, million if he didn't have any evidence?

The reason they (Mclaren) were found "guilty" and had to pay the fine is because from the FIA point of view, they didn't have to prove that Mclaren used Ferrari's information (to their advantage or not). All they had to prove was that Mclaren HAD this information and could have used it to their advantage, or to their disadvantage, or not used it at all.

in the trial they referred to when another sportsman uses banned substances. The 'council' does not need to prove that this athlete won or benefitted from using these substances. All they need, to impose a penalty, is prove that the athlete USED the controlled substance.

They were banned the same way schumacer was, for unsportsman like behaviour.
They couldn't prove that mclaren did use the info, but it certainly seemed to have an Influence.
