You think he's doping? If he is then it will be devestating for athletics, they've really embraced him as a mascot. I'm hoping that he's just an exceptional athlete because of his stature combined with excellent turn over speed but I've had my doubts, especially as there seem to be a lot of Jamaicans coming through at the moment.

Insane Bolt has to be one of the most tested athletes in the world, I can't see anyway he'd get away with doping. He's not even a particularly massive bloke (compared with his competitors), just a massive talent. I also think there is a good chance he will be the first man to break the 9m mark in the long jump

I'm usually a staunch defender of him as dad seems to think he is doping. There have been so many cases in the past where top athletes have been found using illegal drugs that it's hard to convince him and I do occasionally wonder if I'll get the 'I told you so' lecture in a few years time. In the early part of this decade it seemed like every American sprinter was being banned during the BALCO scandal and all of them had passed drugs tests. I still maintain that he's just a unique athlete, they do occur every so often.

Personally I don't think he's cheating but it has been know for people to pass drugs tests in the past and get found out later, usually because it's a new drug which isn't tested for.

I dunno know about that. I think he'll be pretty good, because the majority of sprinters make good long jumpers, but I've seen plenty of sprinters (especially tall sprinters) that have no springs in them. Plus he's on the heavier side which is a kind of a disadvantage.

Didn't you see him on top gear he was very quick in the reasonably priced car.Stig said he would of been up there with the top times if he was lighter.

I would like to think its a case of hes the first tall guy to be able to start out of the blocks and get into his runing quickly.

Yeah convention says it's better to be more compact to maximise explosive power. Bolt however is taller so should find it more difficult accelerating out of the blocks, but he doesn't.
