That was such a crap football match.

There were plenty of joints in need of some WD40, the game didn't really get going until the 2nd period of extra time.

Talking of rusty joints, I bet Toure's still got the ice pack down his pants, Rat jumped on his bollocks and didn't even get a card for it!

I had a rat jump on my bollocks.

As long as it kept its teeth together the pain probably isn't comparable. Not a common occurrence though I grant you.

Don't you tell me how much it hurt!

United just put an end to Arsenal's storming start, even if we were a bit fortunate to get the lead :hehe:

I thought Rooney looked isolated up front today, I'm not sure if that's a criticism of the formation or the lack of incision from Valencia and Nani, who both look pretty poor on the flanks.

Arshavin impressed again, luckily he was kept out the game in the 2nd half and Arsenal went pretty flat after the own goal.

AC 0-4 Inter! And Kimi won the Belgian GP. Top weekend for me! :sickman:

I didn't realise Serie A had started. Who scored for Inter?

I think Inter are being overlooked in the CL this year. I like that though, it's almost like Jose's Porto victory. If he keeps getting the results and under the radar they could be a force.

Well they drew Barca in the group stages - if they pull off a win or two there nobody will be overlooking them.

Nah much as I love Inter, they are no-where near the level of the English top 4 or Barcelona yet. They don't have squad at all and although they put four past AC, they drew with Bari and didn't look that sharp in either game. It really frustrates me, they aim to win the champions league and they're not short of cash but they always sign players who are past their best or fail to nurture young talent they have on board.

got a feeling chelsea will win the prem and champions league this year.

they were better than barca last year, only to be knocked out by 'that' ref. plus they've got drogba going at it fully this year. him and anelka will be deadly.

Nah Chelsea were lucky to even meet Barca in the semi. Barca not being in the final would have been a travesty.

They got knocked out because they missed a hatful of easy chances. No point blaming the ref when fate's in your own hands.
