Did anyone else notice this before he put his helmet on before Monza Qualifying? His trainer/assistant giving him some pills and then him taking them, what would they be? Caffeine pills prehaps?

If it were something prohibited he would have done it in private so I wouldn't worry about it.
Mrs Madbrad takes a prescription pill before each flight to reduce the anxiety. Such a drug would help slow the heart rate which would be good in F1. Being prescription and a narc otic, it's probably prohibited, and it takes at leas an hour to take effect, and it makes you sleepy so I guess it wasn't that.

maybe its one of those energy pills that you suck, I used to have them before dance competitions

Could have been laxatives, apparently he has the shits with Alonso (boom boom ching)

Caffeine pills sound likely, after all, he's that good he probably needs them to stay awake long enough to stand on top of the podium lol.

could have been salt tablets. if he sweats a lot he'd need them and id imagine at times it can get hot. caffene tabs also an option. could have been mints imagine how dry his mouth must get.
