Yeah, but Kimi knows Mclaren. Plus he's nowhere near as hotheaded as Nando. He's too laid back to get his knickers in a twist over real or imagined slights. As long as they give him a car and an engineer he'll be happy...

Dont think Kimmi would be suitable in a Mclaren, As far as im concerned Kimmi las lost his spark (the will to win), Dosent matter what car you put him in if the will to win isnt there then its pointless

Really? So the excellent drives to podium places, fighting hard to make good of the F60's long-run pace so that he can jump people in the pits, are what, exactly?

Him doing his job

Everybody has an off day at work, He seems to have more than most considering how experianced he is

I haven't seen an off-day so far this year...

Being awarded that 2007 WDC title has been a wonderful motivator for Kimi at Ferrari, ye think. Not to mention the F60 has been a dog for first half of 2009 season. LH and Kimi would be a winner at McLaren.

Kimi has SILENTLY put some of the the best drives this season!

Just because he's not as jolly or motivated as Massa doesnt mean he's not interested. I think his driving speaks for himself: He's not in F1 to be liked and/or fanboy'ed.

Raikkonen is talented, so McLaren would be fools not to at least consider getting him back again. Moreover, I think many people at McLaren regretted losing him to Ferrari - Dennis especially. I'm less enthusiastic, however. Raikkonen does not look to have been consistent at Ferrari, where he has had two good cars. So, I'm not sure I buy the excuses that McLaren's reliability problems from 2002 to 2006 and the team's relatively greater corporate concerns demotivated him. Still, I'd rather have Raikkonen back than Kovalainen. Rosberg, however, is who I want to see at McLaren next season, unless there is the unlikely development that Alonso wants to be an employee of McLaren again.

Kimi going back to McLaren would possibly work. I mean he'd just tell Ant Hamilton to f*** off and then he'd get himself an ice cream... only to discover (to his shock) that McLaren only do mini milks.

Then he'd leave the team.

LOL and they don't do coke, it's Pepsi.

You know you've made it when...

...you start quoting yourself and LOL :P

NR: not sure yet whether he's got it in him - a bit like HK (before we knew): a promising talent who hasn't shown us too much yet. Compare to SV and you understand what I mean.
FA: don't think he wants to go back to McLaren, so yes, unlikely.

Granted Kimi isn't exactly a socialite by default, but upon the podium last week he looked miserable. Zero celebration Iceman style. Just an observation, but one has to wonder what's going on behind the scenes. Lewis and Kimi would be cool to see, not to mention LH can do all the PR work while Kimi stays in the shadows.

Cheers

He never appears to be sociable or happy. I was was watching practice 3, and they were quoting him saying things similar to Nocturnal's signature, like "Do you like driving at Spa?" "Yes, its a good track" "Why do you think all the drivers enjoy the course?" "I've just said, its a good track" or something along those lines.

I never watched F1 in 2007, who was Kimi's partner @ McLaren back then, Alonso?

Kimi just doesn't like the attention. He's a bit like me, to be honest. Amongst friends, out of the spotlight, reasonably talkative and friendly. But throw a camera in his face and he gets very uncomfortable.

Kimi was at Ferrari in 2007. At McLaren, he had DC as his team-mate from 2002 to 2004, and Montoya/de la Rosa in 2005 and 2006.
