Hamilton or Raikkonen. The Red Bulls will go heavier than the KERS cars and beat them on their long-run pace. There's no point matching fuel loads, starting on the row ahead, then losing places at the start and compromising their strategy.

Good point about the KERS aspect.I think Vettel is just about the worst starter I've ever seen,or does it just look that way?.I havn't looked at his record but always appears to go backwards to me.

He hasn't made any stand-out good starts this year, just some pretty bad ones. Webber, on the other hand, has had better starts. I think that Webber will be the winner here, not least because Vettel is at risk of blowing another engine on those long, flat-out sections.

Hopefully Webber and Vettel can lock out the front row and take big points outta Brawn and Button this weekend. I want a title showdown!

Would matter, Lewis, Hekki or Kimi will just use their KERS to fly past them.

Renault should of got theirs working Alonso would of been up there.

For once, I agree with Legard.

Mark Webber (Red Bull)
Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari)
Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull)
Lewis Hamilton (McLaren)
Rubens Barrichello (Brawn GP)
Jenson Button (Brawn GP)
Heikki Kovalainen (McLaren)
Fernando Alonso (Renault)

I think Kimi will be pretty hard to beat, but Webber will be the winner. Vettel should be second, except he'll probably get a bad start and not be able to make good use of the Red Bull's long-run pace (the very reason he lost out to Webber in Spain and Turkey) thus falling behind Kimi.

Agree about Webber and Raikkonen, but there's a conspicuous lack of Toyota's in that top 8, unless he made that prediction earlier this week....

Would make good sense.

McLaren posted some good times but car quite clearly had some stability issues that need to be resolved.

Steve Matchett made a compelling comparison of the rear wing settings on the McLaren with the Brawns' configuration during P2. McLaren ran MUCH more wing which indicates the back is still unstable and they're willing to compromise their straight line speed for rear end stability to give the drivers more confidence in the car.

Great race. Lots of anticipation and lots of things to look out for. I still think it will be between Red Bull and Mclaren, with Kimi and Brawn having some possiblility of splitting somewher in there......

Anyway, the best track!! :cloud9:

I think it will be a Red Bull weekend, probably Webber, especially if Vettel tries to keep the number of laps down in qualification to save engine wear.

Webber is not doing well in practice!

More engine grief for Red Bull, predicting qualifying is looking tricky.

Rob Smedly told Badoer if he pulls it together he can get a lap time 3 tenths shy of Raikkonnen.

Would ofbeen great to hear the few seconds of team radio before that :hehe:

Yeah RBR could well suffer from lack of track time.
