>Other than Leggard, you guys and gals are doing an excellent job. Love how you have produced this. Apart from Leggard.

Actually, I have to say he's more frustrating than Legard, in my opinion. At least Legard occasionally makes some half-decent points >.<

The email wasn't meant to be serious. I hardly think one email is going to make a difference do you?

As for Eddie, he is sheer comedy genius. Much more entertainment value than Legard and he is also in a different role, a much less important one, so my expectations are much lower for him. As they should be, its EJ after all.

Legard is a commentator not a pundit and he's a s*** one at that.

It's clear, if you pay attention that Brundle is clearly making an effort to engage him.

It's over 9000!

Do you mean thats how many email complaints the beeb has received over their recruitment error?

If so, I can't take credit for all of them :)

we need to do away with legard definitely, but no one makes a move to oust eddie jordan, or I'll be writing letters in myself.

What've people got against Eddie Jordan? His banter with DC always keeps me listening, even if they are talking about Mosley and FOTA again. And he pops up with info from his old pals before before the BBC feed it through. And pinched an interview with Schumi they wouldn't have got last week.

The 3 presenters are top draw, they just need another character in the box to bounce off Brundle a bit better.

Eddie Jordan is returning to team management in October!

The Irish KERS-hater will bring his "new" team to Silverstone in October as run a Lotus in a race. :P

EJ has already announced his new driver:

I'm racing at silvertstone in a Lotus on October 10th. DC will be my driver coach, EJ as team boss!! Hilarious!! - Jake Humphrey's Twitter.

Does anybody get the feeling Legard rehearses his commentary introductions before they switch to him and Brundle?

Looks like Jake, DC and Eddie just split a 3-pack of shirts from marks and spencer or something today. :hehe:

There was an awkward moment during the safety car where Legard said something and asked Brundle a question, and it just seemed like Brundle was miles away, almost like he just wasn't paying attention to Legard. :scratchchin:

On red button forum afterwards I thought Martin seemed pissed off about something. He was even a little short with Jake towards the round up at the end.

@Jake "Are you going to provide the answer for a question you have given me again?" - this may not be his exact words but the tone was defiantly one of annoyance.

Is Brundle on the outside looking in? I thought all the forum guys got along?....

Well whether he was annoyed or not, he made some crackers this weekend:

Jonathan: “D’you know what? Badoer is 6 to 1, or was before the start of the weekend, to finish in the top eight! Can you believe that?! More like 206 to 1, I’d have thought, but there you go!”
Martin: “Obviously those bookies were on holiday [during] last week’s Grand Prix.”

(Fisichella takes pole)
“If he gets out carrying a little can of fuel, you know he’s not got that much fuel in for the race!”

Jonathan: “Have you been linked to the Ferrari drive? Interested at all?”
Martin: “No. Too old, too slow now, I would imagine.”

“It’s a slam dunk from there, surely, for Raikkonen, with the extra KERS button and a slipstream.”

Jonathan: “Actually, what happened to Trulli?”
Martin: “I was wondering that. I hoped you would know!”

(Footage of Button sitting at a table with other people and a glass of wine in front of him)
“I don’t think that was Jenson’s red wine, but I wouldn’t blame him if he had a glass!”

(In-car footage of Raikkonen at the foot of Eau Rouge as he hits the KERS)
“Yee-hah! Now look at this – superb!”

“Fisichella is fundamentally faster than Kimi Raikkonen. He’s gotta get in the dirty air, that’s the trouble, and he’ll be eighty horsepower down when Raikkonen hits the magic button on his steering wheel.”

“Rosberg can smell the burning oil, and can smell seventh place with it.”

“That’s good news for Formula 1: you can come in with a small team without the resource and still get the job done.”
