Last time I was in London I did things which Jensonb would be jealous of.

I know what you're talking about and once again want to reiterate I hate you for them :censored:

I go to London to get the trains... thats it.

Once you got the trains, what do you do with them?

I love Sydney.

That is all.

I want to see Sydney.

Me too dude. I bet a road trip across Australia would be epic.

Why don't we organise a Forumula1.com road trip? :P

london is rubbish, the tube is full of smelly people who don't shower, used metro papers and snobby city types.

you can't drive because of the sodding congestion charge

and if you choose to walk there's a load of angry cockaney's who like to simply walk into you.

Other than that whats not to like?

I used to work in central London on an early shift on Monday mornings before the streets had been cleaned. They were always really sticky from the weekend's 'festivities' :yuck:

The two things I miss about living/working in London: the book shops (particularly Charing Cross Rd with Foyles, Blackwells and Borders....) there's nothing like it out here in the sticks :(
China Town. I miss being able to get si yuk whenever I want, and all the lovely Chinese supermarkets full of weird coloured random stuff.

Having said that....would never go back to working or living in London unless I absolutely had to!

London is a special place, well the good bits are anyway, the buildings are sodding huge and impressive, it's full of rich people with a lot of money and don't they show it, the roads are wider than my house is long and no one will ever stop for you. But the tube is awesome, seriously people complain about it all the time but compared to getting the bus :yikes: its heaven.

Just don't get stuck in the sodding run down parts, absolutely nothing there no soul, prince charles wines about modern articheture but I'd love some of that over here.

I've mixed views on London. The museums, theatres, historic sights and what have you are pretty fascinating, but I find many of its people obnoxious, the number of foreign people (or, in fact, those who don't integrate into British society) very off-putting, and the cost of living is ludicrously high. I was thinking of heading to London for some university work in a couple of years time, but I'm really not sure about it.
