Is it true that Ferrari's racing team had a base in Liverpool in the 1950s, and if so, where can I find out more?

Perhaps Ferrari were anticipating a GP circuit in the 'pool. Having just watched the catalogue of furk-ups by Liverpool Council in the run up to "Capital of Culture Year", I'm surprised you still have a bus running in the city. :shock:

i think we should have a long.. 3 lap race...

3 laps of the M25.. just for a laugh.. close it down for a week..

Monday - Tuesday team prep days..
Wednesday - quailfying 1 - J1 to J8
Thursday - quailfying 2 - j8 - j18
Friday - quailfying 3 - j18 - j24
Saturday - qualifying 4 - j24 - j30

all times agregated, and 5 second penalty lost for each wheel removed from car passing through QE2 bridge tolls (min speed 150mph)

Sunday - 3 lap race..

M25 practically at a standstill most of the tima anyway, so closing it down for a week cant cause too many problems. lol
