I dont care who wins, dont have a fav team or driver. I just love the sport for the sport. I had a couple mates (Nascar fans) stop over on sunday for a beer and they watched the race. They all actually enjoyed it, as did i. I think F1 fans are the biggest turn off for the casuals. A LOT of F1 fans are pretentious, arrogant, ignorant asses who think they are better then everyone else because it is the best motor racing in the world.
I dont really care if someone does or does not like it, as long as i get to see the race im happy.
tbh i dont blame people for not liking f1, just look at the touring car, much more entertaining for the casual fan,
i still think i would struggle to watch if my team left, i have to put a small bet on each year to spice it up, shame
valencia says it all
it is fairly boring tbh
I think half the struggle is getting your friends to watch long enough to develop a favourite driver/team, the same goes for any sport, if you don't care who wins or loses then half the appeal is gone.
