You could try using a proxy to stream BBC coverage.

I was actually tempted to set up Canary, my server, to allow people to use her as a proxy. So then when your request went through to the Beeb for the content, it would come from my UK-based IP address rather than yours, but you'd still be able to stream the content. It would require you to use SSH, though, I think >.<

yeah im in the US and my satalite is down, so i had to do proxy settings and watch the bbc one feed.. i dunno if it was the proxy i was using, but the feed would freeze and id have to restart the browser, was a pain, but later in the day bbc uploads the whole broadcast to iplayer to rewatch
