Kimi to WRC then? :P

If Kimi does go to WRC it would be interesting to see if Loeb comes the opposite direction.

Loeb. Another pain. I hope Hirvonen can win it. ALthough it is very un likely but you never know.

my god for once i agree with you.

Any ideas who Toyota might replace Trulli with? Kobayashi? :-\

I reckon they'd have kept Trulli if it weren't for BMW's withdrawal, and thus i'd bet one of those two are going to Toyota...

I thought it was interesting that Brundle during qualifying indicated that Piquet Jnr,. should get a shot in the ferrari.

On reflection thats pretty funny.

He'd probably not have qualified dead last. They could've taken Bourdais, too. But I think the right decision was to choose one of their own, otherwise it would be pointless naming one of them as the reserve. :/

This isn't worth a new thread and i didn't know where else to post it, but apparently Hulkenberg works at the Williams factory building parts for this year's cars when he has no prior commitments... how random is that?!

LOL that's quite funny but at least the guy must be very grounded down to earth and just wants to help the team out.

can anyone see Alonso returning to McLaren!? Perhaps McLaren are thinking "Hmm...we aint gonna get Vettel for next year, lets go for Alonso again now we are under new management?" At the end of the day, Hamilton has won the championship, its out of his system now, they might want to maximise their chances, Alonso is fantastic, and Hamilton is showing how good he is again in these last few races.
But McLaren should hold out for Rosburg cos he is leavin Williams, possibly i think opening the door for Heidfeld.

All the signs seem to be that Alonso will be leaving Renault and be off to Ferrari, but, if the deal does not materialise, I'd like to see Alonso back at McLaren.

Williams are getting rid of the Toyota engine so they will probably get rid of chrashajima as well.

:idea::idea:

Alonso could have brought McLaren numerous championships if the relationship had worked out better. It's a shame that 2007 went the way it did, because if it hadn't, McLaren could have had two WDCs and two WCCs by now.

Alonso. Please all rumours be correct and Ferrari get Alonso. Otherwise all I see is doom and gloom.

September 10th -> Ferrari/Santander announcement (for Alonso we have to wait till the end of the season)

The fact that Santander is happening gives me confidence that ALonso will happen. Ferrari must get Alonso. It is imperative. With Alonso it will the begining of the Schumacher era the second time around which would be good for F1 as Ferrari will dominate everything once again.

Keep on dreaming!!! No Todt. no Brawn!!! Your domination has ended.

Oh and what about Hamilton? He out drove monobrow at pretty much every given opportunity. Ahem, as a rookie.

I for one hope that the ferrari is as competitive as the mclaren next season just so lewis can rub nandos face in it again.

That's hilarious, it's like you're in 2007 again and are completely oblivious to the realities of the Fernando/Lewis/McLaren situation
