The only ray of light is that apparently the pitch is deteriorating fast, so maybe a chance for our bowlers...

England don't deserve to win back the Ashes on this performance. Hopefully, the weather will not save them again.

well if its a draw we keep the urn so its all good!

Aussies crumbling... there is still hope... I'll be annoyed if rain comes to the rescue of the Aussies. With the exception of the 4th test England haven't played that bad!

England - 332.
Aussies - 113 - 7.

- Follow on maybe?

[Denthúl]

131-8.

Nice.

It seems that we only do really bad when I'm at work.

Oh dear; England - 52 - 3; is this cricket or dominoes? Cook, Bell, Collingwood went for 9, 4 and 1 respectively. Let's hope Trott can do something special on debut!

He's getting there! Broad again scored more than Cook, Bell and Collingwood combined. Swann yet again made over fifty...does anyone else get the feeling he's at the wrong end of the batting order?

Just three more for Trott to take the century on his debut test for England.

Edit: There it is! Good on him!

Edit: So, the Aussies need quite a lot, but I expect them to put up a good fight for it. Should be good.

Trott gets the century We get the ashes (I hope and expect)

It's not over yet, there's still time for England to mess it up, we do that often

Australia would have to get a world record 546 runs in their second innings to win - never going to happen. Though it should be entertaining to watch them trying to do it!

[bud]

they will try and play for a draw. and whats with this Trott bloke? is there any Englishmen actually playing for England?

I tend to agree, I was just trying to cheer Bud up (we're going to demolish them really )
