lets hope you can create your own team

Not bloody likely

OFF.

Really?

i really wanted too aswell

Yeah, it's not likely to be a top priority given how hard thye probably had to fight to get the rights to the actual teams.

You might see it in later versions once they start to need to convince you to upgrade (Especially seeing as the versions they plan to release as their first attempts sound very feature-rich)

the wii versions now knocked back to nov 27th 2009. Hopefully motion plus will be in it for release.

My pre-orders for both the Wii and PSP version both list a release date of 25/9/09. But Amazon and Wikipedia claim 27/11/09.

The Codemasters website is vaguer, still saying just "Autumn" and the game's "website" doesn't say much of anything about...anything.

[vaptin]

Amazon tend to be pretty accurate, and they've moved the date back from the one you stated - so they must've had a reason. I've not found any information on whether It'll be playable online for the wii

F1 2009 can be seen in action the Wii here

And, of course, all the pressing info can be found on the game's Giant Bomb Page (Which I have practically adopted) here

[Denthúl]

Nothing about that video made me think "ooh, I want to get that" >.<

I wonder, will the game take in to account mid-season driver changes (assuming you're not playing as a driver that was dropped)?

No online! What the hell ah well I'll have to stick to mario kart then

Wow a wii wheel shaped and designed like an f1 one, now that is brilliant. No word on wii motion plus then, although if not online doubt it'll use that.

It will not support Wii MotionPlus, there is no need for MotionPlus in a racing game as the standard Wii Remote is more than capable of detecting steering input with sufficient accuracy - which is why games like Excite Truck, Ferrari Challenge, Mario kart Wii and so on are so fun.

the wii is good and everything but i cant help thinking im gonna wanna use a proper controller after a while..
