Creationists don't, but there are other religious pseudoscientists who accept scientific thought such as the Big Bang Theory and claim that God made it happen, or that because we have no sound ideas about what exactly happened before the Big Bang, God must have been involved. I've always found their "logic" rather amusing, as it contends that if we don't know something, there has to be supernatural involvement; it's impossible that we just don't know something at this moment in time.

As a meteorite collector I could show them a 4.567 billion years old meteorite...

Has 'carbon dating' ever been mentioned to the Creationists?? :hehe:

Carbon dating doesn't work much beyond around 50,000 years and only on materials that contain carbon.

Yah I guess it's outdated by now but it would prove the 6Kyr debate null and void right?

Prove? Those folks wouldn't believe they're dead if you showed them their own death certificate

In fact this particular meteorite contains carbon, it's a carbonaceous chondrite, but to measure it's age you have to calculate from the decay of their isotopes http://www.meteoritestudies.com/protected_dating.htm

Here it is my little oldie
