I'd just like to commend Broad and Swann for the respectable job that they have been able to do whilst others have failed miserably.

It is, however, embarrassing that they're the two highest-scoring batsmen and that Swann is the only man in our squad to hit a six throughout this entire test.

In a way it's encouraging - and great fun. And England frankly need this in order to take some momentum into the next test.

But from another point of view it's bloody embarrassing that a couple of tail-enders can put all the 'official' batsmen to shame.

Yeah, that's true. Even Harmison has more runs than Bopara, Bell, Collingwood and Anderson.
