No. I still haven't seen any proof that he KNEW anything about Ferrari's material. The only thing he is guilty for is not keeping stronger control over his team; that he was trusting his people too much.
If Alonso and Pedro were receiving info about Ferrari and filtering it, coming back to their techs and presenting that knowledge as their ideas, I really can't see that as RD's fault; actually, people that should be punished shoud be FA (and PDLR)... not because FA was treatening RD about emails, but because he was actually conducting illegal informations into McLaren.
Of course, question remains if even FA knew that info is coming from stolen Ferrari's book and not from usual voyer-spying (and radio traffic listening) methods each team is conducting.
BTW, Max Mosley is such a prick, coming out and claiming that RD looked him in the eyes and lied. How can he be sure that RD really knew any detail about FA's emails (except that FA told him he had them and will give them to FIA)? Does he know if RD checked those emails first before telling him to go to FIA? If RD new emails are dangerous and IS such liar, would he not offer FA heaps of money and privileges to keep his mouth shut? How can it be RD's fault if FA was supplying McLr with info and presenting it as his own observations? I'm sure a lot of MM's actions are motivated by pure revenge - RD and McLaren being leaders of the group that was treatening to leave F1 and set up a new racing series not so long ago... and to me, MM looks as one of those cold-blooded snakes who prefer their revenge - served cold.
should ron dennis step down after this final ruling over the spygate, has he pushed the boundries too much, will other people take mclaren seriously in the future? hamilton or alonso will win the world drivers championship but is it valid or tarnished? ron dennis has been in f1 for over 30 years is it time to go before it gets worse? ferrari will never live down the infamous 1-2 they had in austria and its been 5 years, i think every time mclaren wins future races it will be questioned not only by ferrari but all f1 teams and i think that this wont go away for many years to come. as a formula one supporter over the last 23 years ive seen alot of questionable things in f1 from all f1 teams (not just ferrari and mclaren) but what has conspired here is unforgivable and unethical. formula 1 is in trouble at the moment with its new engine, tyre, ecu rules coming out every week and this spygate saga has made things much much worse, its time for these team bosses to give a new generation a go and start from a clean slate or f1 as we know it will die. who will beleive what ron dennis says in the future his lies has just lost respect not only from hard core mclaren fans but millions of people in the world, no one will take him seriously now
