Hmm, everyone seems to use photoshop, I use fireworks for just messing around (since that was the program I was introduced to briefly).

what i meant was - you take exisitng f1 pics and edit them right? Or do you draw it all out from a blank canvas?

err, well the vector ones (mclaren mp4-24 and my own f1 car) are done from pictures that i find and print off, and i use the pen tool to get them on the mac; and the others are done with an existing picture

this probably explains why I'm no good at this stuff - if it was me I'd edit to have piquet crying and with blood everywhere

you should use vector based programs like illustrator for logos

I'ts good, is that just a basic fireworks image? or a html based one?

its just an image i created on photoshop, thats what i use to create the graphics, then stick it in fireworks to slice and then in dreamweaver, etc

pen tool is in Illustrator also! CS3 and CS4 Illustrator have the photoshop filters in there. you can do really cool stuff in illustrator i am still learning myself! but for logo's they def need to be vector so they can be scaled! pixels you cannot do that.

I like Fireworks, I was firstly introduced to that, but Photoshop seems the most popular.
