Soccer

Football!!! :D

hey stay on topic would ya! we are talking Soccer here!

lol, 99% of the world call it football, which makes us right and you wrong :hehe: , so anyway back on topic motorsport is better than football, depending on where the race is at, who is racing, what is racing, what colour are the cars that are racing, are the wheels that are racing still round and within regulations, has the drivers helmets who are racing been covered in diamonds (new regulations soon to be released covering the size and carrot of said diamonds being used) have the people who have paid to watch the racing been properly ripped off for their tickets/hotels/food/flights/ etc

Ach fook it i'll wade in.

There should be a wage cap, too many times in football players have joined a club for their bank balance rather than the legacy and reputation of the club. Eg. Man City, Chelsea.

The problem I have with alot of Footballers compared to other sportsmen (or women) is that they think because they drive flash cars, have WAGs and are in the media spotlight, that they are above the law. I like Liverpool, but if I had done what Gerrard had done, i'd probably be serving time right now...

I've always preferred Motorsport so it is natural that I would say it is better than Football. It does have its problems though, especially with politics and sporting rules and regulation. Due to this, I think it is consistently damaged as a product. At least incidents on a soccer field (such as wrong sending offs blah blah) are dealt with in a clear way.

Exactly. I hate the attitude that comes with a lot of footballers.

Even if you were offered the chance to be a WAG :P?

I'd rather shoort myself

I'm Looking for reasons aswell

Footballers (in general) are a bunch of idiots who are paid too much and moan all the time. They're completely full of themselves, they cheat, they take too much time doing their hair...etc. I hate the people that play the sport therefore I can't enjoy football. Although I'll confess, the lower leagues are much better.

I'd say that F1 drivers are paid too much, too. I agree that lower leagues are better than those higher up, but I'm still not a fan of the sport.

With F1 I guess it's 20ish people who are really the elite compared to the number of people in premiership football, they also do a more dangerous job. In general I just hate the attitude of most footballers.

Yeh and motorsport is far more dangrous.

When was the last time a footballer died from a accident?

When was the last time you saw a Footballer rushed to intensive car.

When was the last time you saw a footballer feint from dehydration after a match.

Footballers have it easy, F1 even now is a really tough sport.

The danger aspect doesn't cut it, seeing as it's choice and their own risk to participate in something that, for them, is fun. There is absolutely no way to justify the wages in F1 (just like in football). Otherwise, surely those employed in the emergency services should be racking up billions each every year..?
