Yes, yes he can.

I'm sure LH overtaking manouver has been much discussed over the last few days, but seeing as I dont have the internet at the min and the fact that their are far too many threads for me to catch up with, I thought I'd start my own.

That move = genius at work. Flicking the car sideways to make the apex is pure class!!

but for once I also have to hand it to FA, my god he was fast.

Hamilton can overtake. He can second guess what his opponent is going to do and has a certain way with the brake pedal which is just majestic. Alonso is no slouch though can has pulled off some very good maneuvours as well.

I think the top 4 all have great overtaking ability.
Alonso speaks for himself really, Kimi has some great overtaking, races like Suzuka 22nd to 1st. Lewis has proven he can overtake, and is probaly one of the best i've seen, watch him in turkey, in GP2, magic. Then Massa has more overtakes than anyone this season.
They are all good in my eyes, thats why they're racing in F1

Lewis already proved his overtaking skill at Nurburgring, he just upped it that extra special notch with his move past Kimi. :)

When they get rid of all those stupid winglets and fins etc thus allowing the cars to follow each other a lot better and get better slipstream, I expect to see some great action between Kimi, Felipe, Fernando and Lewis. :)

In fairness a lot of Massa's overtaking moves have been from times he's started towards the back.

Lewis is the new Shumi

Indeed Wouldn't you just love to see those two battling on the track!

I'm sorry but at this early stage you cannot compare the two, even if Lewis wins this years title doesn't automatically mean that he is the new Schuey.

I've wanted to see Lewis and Kimi scrap it out all season. So when Lewis came out of the pits behind Kimi last Sunday, I thought I might just get that wish. Then look what happened :(

(and the cameraman missed it :( )

I agree, far too early. At the moment he has exceeded all expectations because he's the rookie, but he needs to keep up the pace in the coming years still.
