I don't get it how you fight over a tiny little thimble.

Something I could crush with my foot.

:nono: It's not always about big trophies

Yes it does... big trophies signify sooooo much,

That little urn of ashes is the biggest prize of then all in the world of cricket

EDIT: At least for the Aussies and English

Wouldn't you want something a bit bigger... DOES SIZE NOT MATTER TO PEOPLE? :director:

"Hey what did you win?"

"Well I won this..."

trust a bloody scot to support anyone but the english. :P

cricket is s***

Just because the Scottish are rubbish at it Image

Ah that's only because the sport isn't for hard men. Us Scots don't stop for the rain, we play on and use stumps made out of nicked fence posts (or traffic cones) and empty Stella bottles.
We don't toss the Kaber, we use it as our bat, and we use someone 'heed for the ball.

And we don't stop for tea and crumpets either. We break "oot" the battered Mars Bars and the Irn Bru: Made from Girders.

And if it ends in a "draw" we smash the empty Stella bottes and fight till the death.

Also, forget Lords, Edgebaston etc etc, we play in real arenas. Like the archway between Jamaica Street and Oswald Street in Glasgow.

Ok here goes.

I wholeheartedly apologise to any Cricket fan or English man/woman or android, which may have been offended by my negative views on cricket.

Up here in Scotland, Cricket is actually the second most watched sport behind football. Quite unbelieveable given the large Rugby following in the Scottish Borders.

However it isn't surprising, last year I lived near Scotland's national cricket venue and they did get some decent sized crowds.

So if anyone was offended, again I am sorry. As a peacemeal... I would like to offer a Jaffacake, maybe a jammy dodger or two.

P.S. Australia will still win The Ashes.

Edit: I also apologise for my derogatory words against your cup/trophy/pipe thing. As ever I was foolish to not realise that size does not always count when shooting for the glory hole. It is instead how you shoot for that glory. :hehe:

No need to apologise, we can't all have great taste :P

...and I'll ignore the small print :nono:
