Perhaps Mercedes stance simply indicates that they understand the truth of the situation, unlike people like you Dali, who run around screaming the sky is falling at the drop of a hat and who, seemingly have a disposition inclined towards Obsessive Compulsive Disorder once they have managed to mount a hobby-horse.

whatever - get a brain and suck Fact-Man's sausage - the two of you make a very nice couple.

Grow up peabrain. I don't "suck sausage", it's you who bill yourself as "The Forum Queen". And before you play the "homophobic" card, I never have been homophobic, simply homo-indifferent. Don't worry about it Dali, it'll probably only take a couple of months before you graduate from the Anger Stage.

Why should he step down? From what i could read into the situation, Alonso tried to intimidate ron by threats to "tell". Hes the one who should step down. I hope hes kicked out of Maclarin.Guess who would take him? Ferrari, and good ridance. He is just a baby who threw his dummy out the pram.

Utter BS - Ferrari don't want him.
RD should step down for his inability to run his joint appropriately. Every CEO would be fired on the spot after getting a fine of this magnitude.
the same could be said about ferrari. didnt all this start from them? What penalty did they get? Ferrari can only get their own way by bully tactics. Funny how the constructors is now theirs?

Good point Ferrari, employer past on information also......Mosley’s, he so corrupt the man should be removed from the FIA, he constantly turn a blind eye to any wrong doing by Ferrari, several people (Ron Dennis, Flavio Briatore) question if he on the payroll of Ferrari. Ferrari have won 3 championship with illegal moving floors and illegal engines which give them a massive average he didn't make any commons or investigation regarding Ferrari conduct over the years. Also Ferrari illegal policy of team order, Michael team mates were unable to compete with him fairly.

I suspect if F1 team managers were more abundant RD would be replaced. But they are not, they will just learn from this and become a better team. I suspect next season they will be very aggressive. Besides I think this whole thing was more for show than anything else. To let this be a lesson to other teams and to set an example as the leading motorsport.

Firstly, Ron is not just a team manager - it is his team. He took the struggling McLaren team and made it what is today. He may have sold large shareholdings to Mercedes and others but it is still his baby.

Secondly, why should he resign? What has the man done wrong? He has shown himself to be a man of integrity even informing Max Mosley himself that Alonso may have information. Others have made it personal against him but he has come out of it with a better reputation than anybody (and that includes not just Stepney, Coughlan, Alonso and De la Rosa but also Todt and Mosley etc). He has set an example for others to follow for the good of the sport.

I remember when Ron Dennis and Frank Williams was picking a fight with Max Moseley and Max/Bernie started their own magazine for a couple of years. Can't remember what it was called now but it allowed them to air a lot of their dirty laundry as the two big Mags F1 Racing and Autosport were very much in the pockets of Frank Williams and Ron Dennis.

I read a lot of stories exposing the dirt on Ron Dennis and he's been caught with his hand in the cookie jar on several occasions, right back when he was a mechanic and got spotted changing engine settings on a car after the race but before the scrutineering.

Ron Dennis' sh!t DOES stink, he 'pushes the envelope' just like every other team boss and this time he got sloppy, if he carries on nobody will ever trust McLaren again, the sportsmanlike thing to do would be to step down as Team Principal and apologise to the fans of Formula 1.

But that would be an admission of guilt and the truth has never been a high priority on Ron's list...
