I personally hate the no testing rule and sincerely hope they change it next year, hopefully this debacle will make them think it through properly.
From [i]F1 Live:
With Michael Schumacher stepping in to replace the injured Felipe Massa starting with this month's European Grand Prix at Valencia, Ferrari has requested from its fellow Formula One teams a one-time lift on the in-season testing ban in order to allow the famous German to acquaint himself with the current F60 over the course of a single day.
well thats what you get for Ramming a Williams Car twice Schui
I'd like him to test because i want him to do well but i don't see how it can be allowed when Alguersuari was denied a test. Plus it's testing millage for the car, which is probably more important to the teams than MS getting track time.

They didn't even ask for Algy, so he wasn't denied a test.
Presumably they didn't ask because it was against the rules for him to test. Ferrari seem to think that the rules don't stand.

Exactly why should they presume to ask when its against the rules, then again STR do use another teams car.....
