Another thing: FOTA continuously talk about getting the fans more involved in the sport; but how does them unilaterally attempting to change the fundamental parts of a Grand Prix weekend fit into that?

Part of the reason I support FOTA is because fans have been promised that their views would be consulted. I don't want to see one dictatorial regime (Mosley and Ecclestone) with crackpot ideas in for another dictatorial regime (FOTA) with crackpot ideas.

They are both as bad as each other in all honesty.

I have no reason to trust FOTA any more than the FIA, both have showed they are out to further their own self interests over creating more spectacle for the fans!

It's all about power; you what they say "power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely".

Well if the medal system is going ahead next year, this one might aswell.
Then for the first year with hands completely rinsed of MM (2011) it can be put back to how the majority preffered.

Personaly I liked the one lap qualifying.

I woukd expect an idea like this from uncle Bernie or Max...But in the end of the day FOTA are the same as FIA. They both just want to get the power, they just want to dictate F1...

The current system is OK, they should race in Q3 with light cars aswell. The old 60 min 12 laps quali was ok, well yeah there were some of those boring sessions but...
The 1 lap session is also good so it`s 1 lap nobody blocks you so show what you can do. But some ppl have disadvantage on others so once again someone complains.

So I would preffer the current format, but Q3 with light cars...Then the fastest would actually get pole...not the lightest

That's the plan for next year with the ban on refuelling.

I quite like the current p3 on race fuel, means the grid is mixed up properly, and its now common for cars to qualify some way away from final race position.

FOTA has the potential to be more trouble than Max and Bernie. All those egos clashing together can only cause problems.

Once again and idea for "improving the spectacle" is suggested with no input from the fans. What was the point of getting rid of Max?!

It's fantastic the way it is and can be very exciting at times.
