What do you think about a rule change that last drivers dont need to allow leading drivers to overtake them without a fight. I thing it would create more dynamic and challenging races where you would not often see a leading driver having "stroll through the park" from beginning to the end of a race. Do you think that it could happen and was that kind of rule ever part of old Forumla rules.

Remember the feelings stirred up towards Toyota when some suspected some inter-team collusion at the end of last year?
That could get a whole lot uglier if backmarkers were allowed to infulence the fight at the front.

Don't think that's likely to happen.

Probably put in since the driver being lapped has nothing to gain from holding up the other driver so its to stop them being biased in any way(holding up one car, then letting the other going through), also it helps keep things running smoothly (less chance of a incident where a back marker ends someones chances and what has the back marker lost by letting them through instead)?

I think they should relax those rules a little about backmarkers, they should be entitled to stick to their racing line and the leaders should have to find their way past them. But I still think ones which blatantly block should still get punished (although those haven't been seen since the days of Alliot/Grouillard et al)

No, just plain dangerous to have backmarkers defending their position. It can be hairy enough as it is.
