I have no idea what some of them were saying but that was a very nice idea. Some of them put their foot in it a little (Webber), and Button's "it's me, Jenson" was rather sweet. I hope they played it to him when he woke up.

That was the point though. A very very smart decision by the Drivers, Ferrari and Sky Italia. Because Massa is fluent in so many languages, having drivers speak to him in different languages was important to his recovery, to see right away if there was any obvious damage - like no longer being fluent or being able to understand.

Especially seeing as it was played to him soon after he woke up.

"I was like oh shi.te we don't have any life insurance here because i'm a skint flint. So what I did was sack Mike Gascoyne and order Gary Anderson to go off and do Irish Tv. When it appeared that the situation wasn't going to improve I thought feck it and I sacked the driver. "It was your own bloody fault" I said in my defence."

Very nice of his F1 mates to do that although I do wish the commentator would have shutup so we could hear what the driver's were saying.
