Has anyone managed to see Moon? There aren't often very good sci-fi movies out but, judging by reviews, this one looked good. It's only on limited release and there wasn't a single cinema near me showing it unfortunately.

Yeah I heard about it, wanted to see it, but nowhere around is doing it yet.
Plenty of time I reckon.

I'd never even heard of that before you mentioned it, watched a trailer tho looks good, and seams to be out in Manchester.

I've been wanting to see too. It had the potential to be excellent with Michael Mann, Johnny Depp and Christian Bale but most reviews are saying it's a bit mediocre by Mann's standards

I watched the trailer and decided I wouldn't like it, my bro saw it and said it was pretty good.

Saw The Taking of Pelham 123 last night. Was rubbish. Characters were characterless. Script that seemed like it had been edited by a 15 year old guy - oh, it needs a 'f**k here', and an 'a**hole' here, and a 'lick my bumhole motherf****r' here, then repeat for rest of script - had three car crashes in it for no reason, and two characters who existed purely to get shot (in horible detail) at the end. Had rubbish direction - too jerky and not in a good way. Blatantly stole from other movies (Wife to husband about to go meet the bad guys - 'We need some milk, so you better bring home a gallon').... I could go on and on
