Hahaha.

Wow. You know, I spent all day saying that he wouldn't come back and that we would be seeing Gené. I'm going to feel so silly tomorrow. :hehe:

I honestly thought it was just the media hyping it up at first, I never imagined he would actually step in. I'm a little shocked right now

Well there wasn't many other options was there :hehe:

A bit of a surprise, then. :yikes:

I'm in two minds about this. I'm excited to see an all-time great, whose name was a bi-word for Formula One for fifteen odd years; but, on the other hand, I fear he could tarnish his legacy should things go pear-shaped.

I think no matter how he performs his reputation as one of the greats will remain intact.

Full agree!!!!
As i said above, he is the greatest driver of all time, like Rossi, he had some off days but today Rossi is the greatest rider of all, hey i have fount my love for F1 again :cloud9:

That's debatable

Its the return of the king!! This is the best news I have had all year! Well apart from my new job...

I hope his car is good. No doubt Schumi will be able to extract the most out of the package. On another note maybe this will be the kick the pants Kimi need to get his act together. It won't be any good for his driving reputation if he is beaten by a man that has been out of the sport for 3 years

They got a podium in the last race so they're on the up.

Schumacher is better than Alonso, he can get the most out of any Car. So to be honest i think he will be the man to beat this Race :cloud9:

I think hes 40, not race fit and not used ot a 2009 car so if he scores a point i'll be impressed.

And don't take this the wrong way back in his day Schui was one of the best drivers F1 has ever seen.

But he hasn't raced in a F1 car for 3 years.

Gonna be cool to see him back tho.

It's just a shame massa had to be injured for this to happen

Even though he hasn't raced for 3 years he still has been with the team and up until last year was driving the cars as a test driver. So it not like he is just being thrown in at the deep end with set-ups that are completely unfamiliar to him. I think a podium should be the target.

On a side note I am off to the bookies to put a bet on Schumi running someone off the road in the first corner :D

I thin him battling Lewis will be a dream, i love Hamilton and can see him being the greatest driver of all, including beating Alonso!!

But this will be some awesome character building, i can see it now

Hamilton V Schumacher :cloud9:

We could have a last race battle, plus then they both do not know the circuit :hehe:

Meh. Seeing some of the things he has done in the past, I wouldn't be surprised if he took to the car quite well. And besides, Alguersuari did alright with no F1 experience whatsoever. I'm Schumacher hasn't dropped back to that level after only three years! :hehe:

As much as I love Mika, I wouldn't say he was better. Schumacher was far more complete than Hakkinen.

Wow that is very shocking i wasn't expecting a replacment to be announced for qutie a while and i didn't expect it to be that man! This will be good for the sport though.

The fact that Schumi labels it as "cover" rather than a comeback acts in good steed. I'll see it as a farewell rather than a comeback, savour every race. First Lance Armstrong coming back was awesome, and now Schumacher. Two legends and two of the greatest sportsmen making comebacks.

Imagine the Tifosi at Monza if Schumi is still racing for Ferrari.

The press is going to have so much fun with this

Speaking of the press what about the Beeb getting James Allen to come and commentate on the race? He must wetting his pants at this news!
