Its not as if Jenson has had the weekend in the bag from the start. Like Schumi.
Button has pretty much always had a competitor and had to work very hard for the win.
Win1 - Australia - Kubica claimed he could have beaten Button, maybe even Vettel, But then we know what happened...
Win2 - Malaysia - Not exactly boring WAS IT??, every one enjoyed that unpredictable race
Win3 - Bahrain - Jenson started 4th, had to overtake and contend with well-qualified Toyotas, Hammy and Vettel
Win4 - Spain - Personally I thought Barrichello was going to/could have won.
Win5 - Monaco - Well always pretty processional, Barrichello made a good start but behind Jenson
Win6 - Turkey - Car speed pulled the win off, beat Vettel who should have challenged more.

Not a done deal before the race.
I wouldn't call these races boring.
Especially like in the Schumacher days.

I was quite impressed with this well structured reply I spent loads of time on.
Anybody else??

Yes, it was very well thought-out and presented.

Aye thankyou.

:hehe:

Regards to the post;
I believe that Brawn are going to possibly score a 15/17
With Rubbens hungry for more i think this present of a F1 title is wrapped and has Ross Brawns name on the label

...quite against the odds, really.

It will be a surprise of the century if anyone other than Jenson takes the WDC.

WCC wise, its over. BrawnGP has it in the bag.

ok now it becomes more interesting without brawn winning all the races, looks like the brawn boys are back to the middle pack this couple of races, if jenson wins his WDC just because of he won only 6 out of 7 opening race i think it would make him the worst champion in my book, but lets hope this is not happening, i would prefer to lose the championship like massa did last year then win it without even fighting for it, yes he didnt get any challenge from other drivers in those races, jenson and the brawn GP team really need to improve the car cos the rest of the packs are looking faster and faster every race, if mclaren and ferrari are back to their winning pace and i think they will by the start of next season, I dont think jenson will have the chance of winning the championship next year, so this year is the only chance for jenson to win it with brawn but who knows...

Dont forget that Keke Rosberg won his '82 WDC title with only 1 win so JB winning his first WDC will be worthy.

perhaps mark webber could do it this year too, winning the WDC with only 1 win if jenson keeps falling back and webber scores points, my point is we want to see they go head to head like massa and hamilton last year, hamilton, raikonnen, alonso the year before

Keke Rosberg was a legend though, amazing car control and superb in the wet, often hobbled with uncompetitive cars. Button is not in the top flight of current F1 drivers imo

i think ferrari and mclaren will be in the mix a lot more in next few races , seing as hungrey was apperently a dead cert for brawn to win , i think they could be throwing the championship away

Yep with the advancements made by Ferrari, McLaren and RedBull it may be very tough going for BrawnGP in the last half of the season.

You have watched one or two of the races this year, right? :scratchchin:

Jenson has often been hobbled with uncompetitive cars, more often than Rosberg, has a pretty good record in the wet (remember the first few laps he put in at Fuji in 2007? A decent pace, despite having no front wing...) and some of his wins this year have had a real stamp of brilliance on them. I really couldn't think of many drivers I'd put ahead of him.

Also, in 2006 Alonso took 7 wins, only one of which came in the second half of the season, and in the last two years the champions have averaged 5.5 wins, so Jenson's not doing too bad by comparison.
