if McLaren can't tempt Rosberg away from Williams, I don't think they will drop Kovalainen.

agreed, but ultimately i think they really want a German driver either way.... so unless Heikki wins the WDC i think he is a goner

Though HK did not do bad McLaren requires the very best drivers and Lewis outperformed HK by a very large amount this weekend. Over a race distance the McLaren was quite clearly the fastest car yet HK did worse than Kimi who started behind him.
