Kubica would be a good choice if Renault could get him, although I kinda like him at BMW Sauber. They could also try tempting Rosberg, but I think Nico is pretty much going to either stay at Williams or go to McLaren.

Good shout

Im starting to think this might be likely. he has a renault background so its very possible! better than any of the current dev drivers.

nico is mclaren bound im sure. he is becoming hot property, just look at the formbook.

Hi I'm new here and I'm Brazilian, I've been reading this forum for some time already and today I decided to sign up..

regarding the thread subject, today during the race transmission the brazilian tv network Globo talked to Nelson Piquet (father)...
it looks like Piquet Jr., is gone from Renault for good, but Piquet already has something up his sleeves.. since he stated that soon he will reveal a good surprise, telling everyone the true reason why he's going to every GP lately...
It's been rumored that maybe Piquet Jr. could go to Williams..
personally.. I don't think Frank deserve this

ps: sorry for rough english

I wouldn't be surprised if Piquet Sr. is pulling strings and calling in favours to ensure his son is still in F1 when Flavio ditches him. If Williams lose Nico then maybe Frank would take a risk and get Piquet Jr in return for his Dad's financial investment in the team.

What a dream team, Piquet and Nakajima!

Wowow that is brilliant

As I've said, I think Piquet has the talent. Things have gone pear-shaped, but it would be wrong to throw him on the scrapheap. It seems as though he's the sort of driver who needs somebody to put their arms round him. Briatore isn't exactly that kind of guy, and is too busy fellating Alonso anyway.

yeah I agree that he is talented, and maybe a swap with Bourdais would have been good for them both.

I think Flavio walking was a sign of him turning his back on him now.

If Grojean does not come up to scratch then he needs to rip his hair out :hehe:
