You guys have definitely not yet progressed much beyond the Denial stage, though I can most certainly sense some anger cropping up - so there's hope...

Shock stage: Initial paralysis at hearing the bad news.

Denial stage: Trying to avoid the inevitable.

Anger stage: Frustrated outpouring of bottled-up emotion.

Bargaining stage: Seeking in vain for a way out.

Depression stage: Final realization of the inevitable.

Testing stage: Seeking realistic solutions.

Acceptance stage: Finally finding the way forward.

Don't worry, he's just being a bit of a wind-up merchant. A bit like Jean Todt...

It's perfect because it explains how McLaren fans try to cope with this disaster. Or how they probably should instead of staying stubborn and pout.

the way I see it, it should be:

Shock stage: Initial paralysis at hearing the lies.

Denial stage: Trying to stop thinking about a possible outcome based on corruption

Anger stage: Frustrated by the FIA's allegiences

Mirth Stage: Realising you won't be put down that easily

Giggling Stage: As you see a decent outcome from at least one source

Happy Stage: Finding out the other guy was wrong all along.

Acceptance stage: Trying not to laugh at the foolish

Yes, sorry, was too harsh and not really what I meant. Was supposed to be a joke based on politians, which most Italians would agree with (and yes, I'm well aware that politicians all over the world are corrupt to some degree). The Italians in general are a pretty nice bunch...

Well, I'll be sleeping easy tonight unlike many McLaren fans :D

And if I hear RD announcing his retirement anytime soon, I'll be focusing my support on LH :D

I quite liked Ferrari with Ross Brawn's influence and, although seemingly annoying at times, you can't fault Schumacher's record. But now there will be a fair few people turning away from them, I believe.

Problem is, only the most loyal Tifosi will see the constructor's win as an out-and-out victory at the end of the season, rightly or not. You could say the same should McLaren have been allowed to win the championship, however, depending on the evidence coming to light tomorrow.
