Sorry I've not been around much (you know you missed me  ), been busy with my new toy below but still following F1 and its astonishing how BMW has falled. You see the progress McLaren (yes I know KERNS is part of it) made in 6 weeks, Ferrari,Toyota, Renault, Red Bull, but BMW just keep going backwards hanging out with Force India. The rules are basically the same next year so you won't see a "Brawn" advantage like this year so teams like Mercedes, Ferrari, Toyota, and Renault are already making progress with new aero parts for next year's cars while BMW looked confused. If you are a good driver, in a poor car you should be decent but Kubica is..well :irked: , he does nothing but complain everytime a microphone is in front of him, slow on progress and development. Then you have Heidfeld, he's just consistent, out performed Kubica, great in car development yet he doesn't have a seat for 2011. I am disappointed but I expect them to be at least in the top 5 not bottom two.

The same way McLaren and Ferrari did - it just takes them way longer to get their poo together :banghead:

The thing is, though, that McLaren and Ferrari both have some excuse for their poor performances (the title battle last season, for example), but BMW have virtually none. The whole reason for sacrificing their 2008 campaign after the Canadian Grand Prix was to concentrate on 2009. With so much time and money, good facilities and good drivers, how can things have gone so drastically wrong? And, even more worryingly, BMW seem to lack direction. The car has got worse rather than better and there seems to be signs of infighting. Munich needs to step in to sort out the fiasco.

Two seasons in a row now where they have a promising start, and then fail to update their cars and fall to the back. I think they need some more motivation back at the team HQ.

Well, this season's start wasn't exactly promising for them in the first place...

I think you might be underestimating his knowledge there.

well Kube was on for a podium in Australia before he and Vettel came together, perhaps that was their promising start?
