It's a good question. Neither Badoer or Gene have raced single seaters for a long time. Last time Ferrari needed a replacement driver, they got Mika Salo instead.

They won't bring in Badoer, because Badoer isn't even close to fast. Gene perhaps.

I'm actually wondering, would they bring in someone from GP2. Hulkenburg?? The only problem is, Hulkenburg is locked in a championship battle. Would he rather win GP2, or race for Ferrari.

Davidson, Klien or Sato even?

Could be FA to finish the season in his future employer's car and then replace KR who will bumble around in Finnish rallies next year.

Surely a Ferrari reserve driver will just take over? I don't think Schumacher has driven this years car has he?

I would love it if Schumi came back and won a race. He is still fast enough. Also He tests all the F1 cars a on the Ferrari tests track before they take it out for winter testing.

I doubt it'll do wonders for Schumacher though, which is why I'm sure he wouldn't do it. The fact that Ferrari rejected their own test drivers in 1999 makes me feel that they will do the same this time. That basically leaves a whole raft of names, with varying levels of plausibility.
For discussion's sake, I would like to add Valentino Rossi, Sebastien Loeb and David Milliband to the list of possibles...

MS doesn't even have a super license anymore...

MS could get a superlicence by simply calling the 7 time world championship hot line.

its like a special consierge service you get if you win 7 world championships

He just don't want one because he knows that Lewis is better than him, it would be terrible schui would go light to try to save face, lewis would slam it down the inside on the 1st corner and salil past him.
