Well, obviously not overjoyed about Hamilton winning but he completely deserved it, overtaking Webber basically won him the race! Perfect drive really. McLaren could be a factor next time out as well on this form.

Glad Raikkonen did well today, partially in respect towards Massa's unfortunate situation, but also seeing as everyone thinks he's stopped driving flat out in F1 and is leaving Ferrari at the end of the season. :nono::hehe:

The dirty side of the grid didn't have as much impact as anticipated on the KERS guys, although Raikkonen did make an incredibly quick start from the clean side. Shame Alonso's race ended prematurely too, i'd have liked to see what he could have done with what seemed like a 3 stopper, and amusingly Piquet did absolutely nothing yet again. Bye bye! Alguesuari stayed out of trouble and beat his team mate first time out. Good job. The Toyota's came good from the strategy to pick up points from terrible grid positions - that car has such strangely inconsistent characteristics, it doesn't make sense. Rosberg was solid once again, i thought he had a chance of jumping Webber at the final round of stops for a podium, but obviously that didn't happen.

The championship race just becomes more intriguiging after every round now, Brawn haven't even got the second quickest car at the moment yet JB is still picking up points every single race... this is after everyone writing off the title fight as dull following Turkey! :P

I agree with everything you said. That sums things up for me. Obviously it wasn't pleasant watching Alonso's race fall apart thanks to his pit crew making a pretty unforgivable mistake. I think he could have been in the mix with Webber & Rosberg for that final podium position today.

Hopefully over the next 4 weeks we hear only good news on Massa's condition and that he will be able to continue his career as a race driver when he has recovered.

Best part was watching Alonso f*** up to shutup his fans!

You mean the pitcrew duck up

Anyways. Great race from Lewis today. Totally well deserved, and he deffinetly proved today why he's world champion.

Personally, I think Red Bull could've won this race. Because right at the end, Webber was on the soft tyre's and setting and the fastest laps of the race. Their mistake was not to use those tyre's from the start. Had Webber done the first two stints on the soft tyre's, he could've challenged Lewis today.

Really, the only man who could've challenged Lewis, is currently in an induced coma. Can only hope Massa gets better soon as possible.

Disappointed for Vettel today as well. I figured he wouldn't get of the line well, since 2nd is always an awful place to start at Hungary. Then the stunt at turn 1 meant he lost more places, and eventually the car broke. Vettel could've capitalized today, but it just wasn't to be. Now hopefully he can manage take back those points he lost today, and start aiming for the WDC.

I really, really miss Felipe now... i can only imagine what he could achieve today... what a pity to not see Massa vs Hamilton of 2008

Seb really needs to cool his head a little and really learn from this.... i hope he can do well for the rest of the season...

IF Kimi gets a time penalty (big IF), that will put him in front of Button (Button finished 44secs behind Kimi)...and that will give 2 more points difference in favor for Mark and Redbull...just have to keep that in mind..

on the Kimi incident, i want to know why it would be decided post race while Webber was handed a penalty during the race for a similar thing.

I think this is a biggy so im gonna start a seperate thread on it :D
